Youth Water Summit is a water focused science fair that has been taking place with North Idaho Schools for the past 12 years. It is the cumulation of The Confluence Project where IWRRI staff, and our partners take students out on field trips. We teach them to analyze water quality in the Fall and measure snowpack in the winter. This year we have 6 North Idaho high schools participating with over 300 students. We award the top three projects from each of the 6 schools. You can learn more here: https://iwrri.uidaho.edu/education-confluence/
