This study will compare multiple datasets for estimating water used by crops and evaluate uncertainties and trends across the aquifer. Results will clarify how factors like crop type and irrigation changes affect water demand.

Compares multiple evapotranspiration (ET) models to better quantify crop water use, uncertainty, and trends across the aquifer for more reliable water budgeting. Intitial results suggest that ET has been increasing over the ESPA, owing to increase in irrigated lands, increase in precipitation, despite a decrease in atmospheric evaporative demand (in that specific order).
